Three people have now been arrested and human remains have been found in the case of three missing men in Mexico. Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, and their American friend went missing over the past weekend, near Ensenada.
According to reports, the Attorney General’s Office (FGE) apprehended three individuals implicated in the disappearance of three surfers of American and Australian nationality during a police operation on the evening of Wednesday, May 1. Jesús Gerardo Garica Cota, also known as El Kekas, his accomplice Ari Gisel García Cota, whose mobile phone was discovered belonging to one of the vanished, and Cristian Alejandro García, the brother of the Kekas, are among the individuals in custody. Each of the three individuals was found to be in possession of a unique substance at the moment of apprehension.
With the assistance of FGE elements, these were sought in the coastal region of Ensenada, in the vicinity of La Bocana de Santo Tomás, in the areas known as San Juan de las Pulgas and Punta San José, which are situated 150 kilometers south of the city of Ensenada and border the coast. Relatives of the missing were present in the vicinity as members of the search team, utilizing GPS and unmanned aerial vehicles.
During their investigation of La Bocana, Puerto Santo Tomás, the officers discovered blood and teeth in the foreigners’ campsite.
Additionally, the truck being driven by the males was discovered torched and burned.

Relatives of the foreigners severed communication with the individual who rented them an AIRBNB house in Rosarito on Saturday, April 27. Jake Robinson, 30, Callum Robinson (brothers), 33, and Carter Rhoad, 30, were last seen in the vicinity of La Bocana on Sunday, April 28. Additionally, they ceased communication with the individual who rented them an AIRBNB house in Rosarito.
