Florida State University Student and Athlete, Marcus Outzen has passed away after a long time spent in the hospital. He was confirmed dead on Tuesday night, April 20, 2024. According to reports, he died after a long time battling a rare auto immune disease, Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) which left him in a fatal condition and forced him to be admitted to the hospital. The news of his death is indeed a great one and he will always be missed by all those who knew him during the course of his life.
Since the news of his death surfaced, many have not hesitated to share their heartfelt condolences with the family of Marcus Outzen, also paying tribute to him in recently released statements. The general public is urged to keep the family of Marcus in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this sad and difficult time mourning his death. During his time at Florida State University, Marcus Outzen was a very active participant on the football squad. He was known as a Champion, brother, son, and father by many people, and he was also known as an all-around outstanding and inspiring human being who left a legacy for many people to follow. His personality pulled people to him, and his light shone brightly throughout his entire life so that he could be seen by everyone.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Marcus Outzen last night. Outzen took the reins for Chris Weinke in 1998 and led Florida state to the national title game, but we know he was so much more than a ball player.
