Samantha Murphy, a mother of three, a wife, a beloved part of the theater community in Ballarat, and one of the most giving women to walk but most of all run on this earth, was stolen from her loved ones in the early hours of February 4th. She was known to her family and friends as the person who was always willing to lend a helping hand, who would give someone in need her time without expecting anything in return, who always had a smile on her face, and who was kind and kind in anything that she worked on.
More on The Disappearance of Samantha Murphy
When Samantha was out enjoying her morning run, she was stolen from this world by someone who was acting selfishly. The community of Ballarat, along with her family, is still looking for answers regarding Samantha’s abduction. To Samantha, the Ballarat Soup Bus was an organization that held a very special place in her heart. Sam gave money to the Soup Bus on a weekly basis for a very long time, which was a very long time ago. We are holding a fundraising event in order to make a donation to this organization in order to ensure that it continues to function and to protect the memory of this kind and kind woman.

Craig Schepis and Carol Trusler, the founder and vice president of Ballarat Soup Bus, have issued the following statement at this time:
There have been sixteen years since the Ballarat Soup Bus first began its operations. There are 52 weeks in a year, and the Soup Bus operates five nights a week. Because of the kind contributions made by individuals, schools, groups, and members of the business community in Ballarat, the Soup Bus is completely stocked with food supplies. Over the course of a very long time, Sam was a well-known figure who was also a big donor of food. The smile that she always wore and the question that she always asked as she dropped off bags of food, “What else do you need?” will be remembered forever. Kindness and charity are qualities that will never be forgotten about Sam.
