Caleb Andrew Hoover, presently of Xenia and originally of Grand Rapids, Michigan, died Monday, April 29, 2024. He was 27 years old. Caleb worked as a Neonatal ICU pharmacist at Miami Valley Hospital. He graduated from Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy in 2022. He also graduated from Wellspring Preparatory High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Caleb enjoyed being outside, hiking, traveling, visiting national parks with Carley, and going camping with friends. He enjoyed hunting with his uncles and grandfather.
He was extremely committed to his family. Caleb was a hard worker, but in his spare time he enjoyed cooking with his wife and playing disc golf. He was a devoted follower of God’s word, eager to learn more about his faith. He was currently teaching himself Greek and Hebrew to improve his understanding of the Bible. Caleb was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church and proudly served on the Security Team.
Caleb’s constant objective was to learn more about medicine and aid people. He was able to give the greatest gift of saving lives by requesting to become an organ donor.
A memorial service will be conducted at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, 3490 Jasper Rd., Jamestown, OH, on Saturday, May 4th, at 3 p.m. Pastors Adam McCune, Phil Severn, and David Culver will officiate. Public visitation will begin Saturday at 1 p.m. at the church. He will be interred at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia following the church ceremony.
