Lyle Bauer has passed away suddenly. The NACF founder was confirmed dead on on Saturday, April 27, 2024, He died at the age of 66 surrounded by his loved ones and family. He was a legendary Blue Bombers player and general manager who did a lot for his community. He will always be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. At the time of this publication, the circumstances surrounding Lyle Bauer’s passing including his precise cause of death are yet to be confirmed.
Since the news of his death surfaced, many have not hesitated to share their heartfelt condolences with the family of Lyle, also paying their tributes to him in recently released statements. His death is a heavy loss for the NACF Foundation and his leadership and spirit will be deeply missed. Lyle was the reason many started volunteering with Never Alone. He was Larger than life and had a no quit mentality. He had an abundance of compassion for everyone going through hardship. He made friends where ever he went and was loved.
